Cratcliffe is a superb crag that combines some great bouldering with good routes in a beautiful location. It is also right next to Robin Hood's Stride which means there is masses here for plenty of visits by the keen boulderer. The Top Boulders are a good place to get going with short slabby problems above friendly landings. Moving into the trees things get a bit more serious for both grade level and the landings but the quality of the problems increases. For those after the harder stuff, the area has a number of well-known destination problems such as Jerry's Traverse, T Crack, Brain Dead, Wish and P Crack. For climbers with young families this is probably the most attractive bouldering venue in the Peak, and because of this it can get a bit busy on nice days.
