This slabby cliff is frequently wet in summer but it provides fine icefalls in winter. Although it lies close to Shelter Stone Crag, it is far more accessible and popular, since descent to the loch is unnecessary. The Hell's Lum itself is the huge gully on the left-hand side of the cliff.
