This fine mountain on the north side of Glen Carron has two major cliffs with particularly good scope for winter climbing. The major cliffs are the South-East Cliff, which overlooks a small corrie just south-east of the summit, and Mainreachan Buttress, which rises from a north facing corrie and abuts the north-west ridge. The South-East Cliff, visible from the road at Achnashellach, should not be confused with a lower band of crags which line the east face of the mountain.
