Beinn Dearg lies nearer Ullapool than the Fannaichs. This massive mountain offers excellent winter climbing in three different venues. The climbs described here are approached from the west up Gleann na Sguaib, leaving the more remote Cadha Dearg and Coire Ghrànda to the adventurous.
