Sgurr nan Clach Geala

Sgurr nan Clach Geala is part of The Fannaichs, a high group of hills central to the Northern Highlands, situated between Inverness and Ullapool, and therefore away from the west coast and its warmer climate. They can catch a lot of snow from the east, west or north.
The fine crag on the east face of this mountain was only marked on the most recent edition of the OS map, and named as Am Biachdaich. It is large and impressively steep, one of Scotland\'s best, and not as remote as rumour might have you believe.
