The Buachaille

The famous view of the Buachaille (Buachille Etive Mor, 1022m) from the Kingshouse Hotel makes it one of Scotland\'s best known mountains. It sits at the top of both Glen Coe and Glen Etive and its high quality rock climbing has kept it at the forefront of Scottish climbing history. From the connoisseur of the traditional gully climb to the modern test pieces of Creag a\' Bhancair and the daunting Slime Wall. The Buachaille\'s main climbing is on the great rocky face seen from the A82 and approached from Altnafeadh.
