The round of Coire an Iubhair is a classic day out, with Garbh Bheinn as the scenic climax, Beinn Bheag (736m) is the highest summit on the northern arm, with an enjoyably lumpy ridge and great views of the north face of Garbh Bheinn. The whole north-east flank of the mountain is slabby, with excellent climbs low down (Indian Slab, accessed from Glen Gour). The upper left edge of the face is easier angled and conveniently accessible from the ridge, so fits well into the Coire an Iubhair circuit. Excellent clean rock on the slabs, a bit loose on the headwall.
