Located on the opposite (southern) side to Mount Nicholson are several crags of popular interest due to their easy access, excellent climbing and amenable grades.
All are accessed from Black\'s Link Road, which in itself is unusual for it has no purpose in opening up building land (the usual purpose for roads here) but was instead to enhance the defence of Hong Kong against a south shore attack and especially the gaps that allowed access to the north shore and Victoria Harbour. There are several old Wwii tunnels and bunkers hidden amongst the trees above and below the road.
