Beinn Laoigh / Ben Lui

[Ben Loo-ie] From the Gaelic Beinn Laoigh meaning Hill of the Calf.
Ben Lui is one of the most dramatic hills in the southern highlands. When approached from Dalrigh, it has an almost alpine character. Its massive north-east corrie, Coire Gaothach, often holds snow into the summer and has one of the finest low-grade winter climbs in the country, the classic Central Gully.
