Meall Buidhe

[Myall Boo-ya] Yellow Hill.
The Munros of Beinn Achaladair and Beinn a' Chreachain, and their subsidiary top of Meall Buidhe, form a beautiful continuous ridge north-east from Beinn an Dothaidh towards the wilds of Rannoch Moor. The north-facing corrie between Beinn Achaladair and Meall Buidhe (unnamed on the Ordnance Survey maps) is dank, vegetated and unappealing in summer, which is of course a recipe for fine turfy mixed climbing in winter. The corrie is far less frequented than the North-East Corrie of Beinn an Dothaidh.
