The East Face of Aonach Mòr has become wildly popular in the last decade. Easy access, good routes, reliable conditions – what more could you want? It's not exactly the wilderness experience but the attraction is obvious, particularly for a second day when tired legs can't face the trek into somewhere more adventurous.
The crag consists of a long line of cliffs around the rim of Coire an Lochain. This is broken down into several small buttresses, each of which is described individually.
