[Oonach air Chree] Gaelic, meaning The Ridge of Trembling.
Aonach Air Chrith is the highest summit on the South Glen Shiel Ridge. Its north ridge is a fairly well-known easy scramble in summer and a good Grade I in winter. The North-West Face, overlooking Coire nan Eirecheanach, has a number of long winter routes on turf and ice.
