[Skoor an Lochayn] Gaelic, meaning Peak of the Small Lake.
Sgùrr an Lochain is arguably the most distinctive and impressive of the seven Munros forming the main South Glen Shiel Ridge. The climbing is in the corrie to the east of the summit, which has some of the most dramatic terrain in Glen Shiel.
