An extremely popular bouldering area in the field and woods below the main Curbar Edge. The area is nicely balanced with plenty of easier problems and also some famous testpieces that may require many visits for success. The boulders are mainly walls and aretes on a series of blocks, some of which are quite highball. The Trackside Boulder is the inevitable focus of many visits being both brilliant and the first place encountered. A little further back is the dark and powerful Gorilla Warfare and its variants. Then dotted across the field are a few other great blocks. A final area of note is The Loafstone in the trees below Trackside which has a slightly different approach.
