Cyfrwy is the western flanking summit of Cadair Idris and has a very imposing north face that is heavily vegetated and lacks continuously good sections of reliable rock. However, the classic ascent of the face by the lines described here is a superb mountaineering experience and best combined with a trip to the summit of Cadair Idris itself.
