Cima di Mezzo is part of the high altitude Cristallo group. The peak is notorious for holding cloud, particularly in the afternoon. Consequently an early start is recommended to fully enjoy the outstanding views offered by Via Ferrata Marino Bianchi as it traverses this ridgeline. Despite its modest grade, the route should not be underestimated early in the season, as it often holds snow.
