The Palace area consists of a small trio of cliffs around an open valley, plus the isolated wall of Heroes high on the left. Thalassa is over on the left, Baby House in the centre whilst the actual Palace crag is the right-hand cliff - the one riddled with holes. The crags were quite popular in the early days of climbing on Kalymnos, one even made the cover of the first guide to the area. They are generally quieter nowadays - more than a couple of teams here is unusual.
