Helbronner

With lift access as easy as it comes, short approaches and a multitude of wonderful peaks, this area is a must for budding alpinists. It\'s not all cruisy stuff either - routes like the The Rochefort Ridge and Kuffner Ridge offer breathtaking exposure and situations, albeit without any great technical difficulty. The relatively low-grades make this an ideal area to begin your alpine career and to return to as you progress. With routes on rock, ice and snow, ticking every route in this chapter alone would make you a pretty decent all-round alpinist.
