La Joux is a small sunny crag in a stunningly beautiful location. The short walk to the base is gorgeous and the view of the Mont Blanc Massif makes this a great summer venue for relaxing after the big mountains, dipping your feet in the stream and climbing short, solid sport routes. The two main areas are the free-standing block of Le Gros Caillou and the clean slab to its right. The more adventurous routes off in the trees to the left are less frequented, but do offer some exciting climbing. There are some old aid routes dotted about too.
