The edges above the reservoirs of Ladybower and Derwent are wonderful wild bits of gritstone with some superb and spectacular rock formations, situated in an area of dramatic moorland. The bouldering is well spread out and the long walk in and exposed aspect mean that it is never likely to become popular. The three spots covered offer some decent problems but some can get quite high and this isn't a good place to boulder alone since it could be a while before anyone finds you if you were to hurt yourself in a fall.
