Baslow

Baslow has always lived in the shadow of its neighbours. The edge itself is never quite high enough for quality routes and never had the bouldering cachet of the nearby Curbar. It is a beautiful location though and does offer plenty for the boulderer prepared to search around a bit. It may lack height for routing but it slightly overdoes it for many of the problems with highballs being in abundance. The problems are scattered along the edge on quarried and natural faces. There are also several free-standing boulders which give most of the best problems especially in The Wallnut and Flatworld areas.
