Blackwell Dale consists of three steep walls next to the B6049 road. The location isn\'t great and the road is busier than you might think, but the approach walks are very short and there are some good powerful and fingery high-grade problems. There is little here for the average boulderer. The well known Griff\'s Buttress is close by but, at the time of writing, there are access issues - climbers are asked to stay away and avoid climbing on any rock on the west side of the dale.
