Stone Farm

Just south of East Grinstead (West Sussex) is the picturesque outcrop of Stone Farm which sits proudly on the hillside overlooking the Weir Wood Reservoir. Although a bit of an outlier from the main sandstone crags, it is very popular and the closet venue to south London - spring and summer weekends can be crowded, especially if groups are also present.
Stone Farm stretches for around 200m and has a number of great routes mostly in the mid-to-low grades. At a height of around 4m to 8m, it has something to offer boulderers and top-ropers alike. Whether going for routes or bouldering, a pad is a good addition to your kit to help reduce ground erosion and protect tricky starts.
