Kern Knotts

Kern Knotts is an eminent mountain crag passed on the way to the Napes. Although relatively small, it is a curiously historic venue with classic climbs dating from the 19th Century that still command immense respect. Although not huge compared with the bigger cliffs nearby, the routes cram in the climbing and protection is sparse away from the crack and groove-lines. Overall its is a friendly mountain venue packed with excellent and mostly single-pitch climbs on superb rock.
