Convenient and low lying, Stonestar Crag is a neat little venue that is often climbable throughout the year. The crag is fairly extensive - the best climbs are on the smooth wall that is easily seen from the parking spot. The climbing itself is good but pretty challenging, involving the kind of technical, thin and sustained sequences more usually found on outcrops than in the mountains.
