One of the most pleasant crags in the valley, composed of a large, off-vertical chunk of Borrowdale's finest rock. The routes are all single-pitch and follow either strong crack-lines through overlaps, or pick their way up high-angled slabby rock on pockets and crimps. The top of the crag is furnished with a number of fixed abseil points. The only drawback is that the ledge at the base is not too big and can get crowded at times.
