A huge dark buttress of excellent but vegetated and mossy rock that is home to one of the Lake District's finest climbs - Eagle Front. The setting is impressive and the views outwards over Buttermere breathtaking. Eagle Front is a clean and solid climb, but is a far more difficult and serious proposition in anything but dry conditions.
