A clean wall of rock conveniently situated in the car park of The Lime Kiln Pub. The crag was originally developed in the 1980s with some trad routes. Then in the 1990s a second wave added a few sport routes and tidied up the gear on some of the other routes. In the summer of 2023 the crag was given a complete overhaul which included the dramatic jet washing of the Amethyst Wall to remove soot damage from a large fire at its base. The first bolts have been placed deliberately high to keep them out of reach of other people who may use the quarry - bring a stick-clip. All the old routes have been properly re-equipped and a few new ones added with the work being supported by the Peak Bolt Fund and it\'s volunteers.
