Rocca di Cerriolo

Rocca di Cerriolo (also known as Parco Cerriolo) is an impressive golden pillar of red rock protruding from the hillside. A small north-facing section offers a shady option but it is the stunning west face with its long streaked walls and bulging roof at the starts that is the real centrepiece of the crag. The grade level on this section is high but luckily, around the corner, is a friendly south-facing wall with a good set of slabbier routes. A final section of easier routes called the Cactus Garden is available although it is less straight forward to reach.
Surrounding the monolith is an abandoned exercise park with pull-up bars and other interesting setups many of which are now overgrown.
