Lickle Crag

An outlier of the Duddon Valley crags, Lickle Crag is a very good compact cliff set in a beautiful valley that is much quieter than much of the Lake District. Relatively low lying and offering a limited but worthwhile number of single pitch routes, the crag is a fine destination for teams looking for a day of mid-grade climbing in a peaceful valley with the added attraction of a short approach. The Blacksmiths Arms at Broughton Mills is a fine post crag watering hole.
