Dyserth Waterfall Crag

A convenient small crag set in a tranquil setting that has a line-up of single pitch sport climbs with grades and styles to suit the majority of teams. The left end of the crag has a set of vertical climbs that follow narrow corners and the walls sandwiched between them, whilst the right-hand side is dominated by a large roof through which some very hard challenges find their way. The rock is generally good as is the bolting. The crag, like its near neighbour Dyserth Castle Slab,, is a year round venue that is sheltered, quick drying and enjoys a sunny aspect (although its heavily shaded by tree cover in the summer). The approach is charming taking in the unexpected and impressive waterfall that gives the crag its name. If the crag has a fault then it is the fact that during high river levels the harder climbs under the large roof are not accessible.
