Beeston Tor

Beeston Tor is a fine high dome of pocketed white limestone tucked away in one the Peak\'s most secluded settings. It features a great range of high quality trad climbs, often on superb rock, in a location that is both sheltered and sunny. As for the downside (there always is one!), large sections of the lower slabby walls are extremely vegetated, which makes access to many of the climbs a bit of a pain in the dry and downright dangerous when wet. There are some well-used tracks and bits of fixed rope where care is needed. Once on the smooth walls above the vegetation, the positions are superb.
