The next section of rocky hillside to the south of Gerakios and Trois Ilots, and still above Myrties, is the intriguing little canyon of Symplegades. Running north from the canyon are several other bits of developed rock with some decent climbing, especially the cave and walls of Ourania. Hump Piste is the furthest from the parking, where solitude is almost a given. Symplegades itself can be quite busy, with the option of sun and shade always proving an attraction.
