El Fumat is a huge northwest-facing mountain crag, perched high above the road on the Formentor peninsula. The crag has a small set of single-pitch routes on its lower walls, which are positively dwarfed by the bulk of the mountain itself. Sector Free Tibet has some intense pitches that pass through the roof that bisects the entire face. Sector Duke is home to some superb and long mid-grade routes. The rock is very different from that normally found hereabouts, and in humid conditions needs a bit of sun on it to give the best experience. The crag is passed on the way to Xon Xanquete, and can be easily combined with a visit there or the nearby Creveta.
