The extensive workings of Langcliffe Quarry, and the smaller unquarried Skyline Buttress, can be easily seen when travelling along the road that links Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Settle. Langcliffe Quarry is extensive and high but the rock on the whole is shattered and unreliable. However a couple of areas have more stable and continuous sections of rock. Skyline Buttress is unquarried and has some fine routes that are worth tracking down.
