Gouther Crag lies in Swindale, a lovely tranquil valley tucked into the Eastern fells, where you can get a real sense of what the Lakes was like before mass tourism. However, if this all sounds rather traditional, the bouldering is anything but - it's steep, powerful and mostly in the V6 to V9 range. Gouther Crag Boulders consists of two small groups at the foot of the crag, Peregrine Boulders under the NE Buttress and Truss Boulders under the buttress of that name.
