Like its near neighbour to the south, the long thin line of well-hidden crags of Giggleswick North offers only fleeting glimpses of grey limestone even in the middle of winter. Those who take the trouble to explore in amongst the trees will find good routes with a wide choice of styles ranging from the extremely steep horizontal world of the Hollywood Bowl to a mix of easier sport climbs and traditional lines on the Main Crag and Ivy Buttress.
