Crummackdale is situated high above the charming hamlet of Wharfe and is blessed with a magnificent vista out over Austwick to Pendle Hill. It has two excellent walls with a number of quality HVS routes that are a little unusual in that they are fairly slabby and rely as much on good footwork as finger strength. There are also a few decent E1s and a couple of quality harder routes. There is a lot of other climbing in Crummackdale - all trad - however most of it is not of the same quality.
