Slipstones

A fine little cliff, not unlike a northern version of Burbage, though admittedly a little further from the road and therefore (a bit) quieter. The routes are only short - up to about eight metres high - and, although the crag is often regarded as a bouldering venue, the landings are often quite poor. Soloing the longer routes certainly requires a steady head. Recent years have seen an increase in the popularity of the cliff and the almost inevitable corresponding increase in problems of parking, erosion and litter. It only requires a little forethought and care to be part of the solution rather than the problem.
