Newton Head

Newton Head is the headland between Stennis Ford and Chapel Point. It has always been overshadowed by its near-neighbours but actually has a reasonable set of climbs and some excellent DWS routes. For the solosit, Buckyball, the Bonobo Face and the Big Hair wall are all worth seeking out above a high tide. For those looking for routes there are some decent lines to be found on the Splashdown and Thunderwave Buttresses although the best routers are all on the East Face. An excellent attraction for those wishing to get used to the climbing and rock without full sea-cliff commitment is the short upper tier which has a set of pleasant lower-grade routes.
