Blacknor Far South

A superb crag that has numerous classy routes across the grades, but is particularly good for those seeking challenges in the 6a to 7b bracket. Much of the climbing is on vertical or slightly overhanging walls of lovely grey rock streaked with flowstone and dotted with some unusual fossilized features. Since the massive storm and associated landslides in 2014 the ground under the crag has slipped significantly. The approach is now radically changed and a number of lines on the right end have been lost whilst others have gained a of couple of extra metres at their base. Some of the first bolts are now high and a stickclip is advised.
