Battleship Edge is an exceptional venue and is now established as one of the UKs best and most frequented sport crags. It is packed with many fine routes and although not particularly high the climbs are very sustained from the off and require plenty of finger strength and stamina. The crag is furnished with grades that will accommodate most parties and the bolting is excellent. Following the storm of 2014 the land under the crag has slipped away to various degrees but the base is still a lovely spot to spend time and the nearby Battleship Block, Back Cliff and Veranda are only a stroll away.
