Cadshaw Castle Rocks

A bit of an enigma for Lancashire, a natural outcrop of good quality gritstone in a sunny setting. Not surprising then that the place has long been popular and has become quite polished. Most routes here were first climbed and named by Alan Allsopp in the 1930s.
