Craig Ddu is the quietest of the four great crags on the north side of the Pass. This is partly because many of the routes on the central section are prone to seepage, and partly because they all have a pretty adventurous feel to them, often with fiddly and spaced protection. This should not dissuade climbers who are competent at their chosen grade. Some of these climbs are brilliant when dry and compare favourably with the best the Pass has to offer.
