The blood, sweat and tears of generations of climbers are daubed across this fortress known as Dinas Cromlech. Surely every climber aspires to make an ascent of one of the benchmark classics that are in abundance here. From Flying Buttress to Sabre Cut, Cemetery Gates to Lord of the Flies, there are routes here to keep most climbers busy for a lifetime. In fact there is a higher concentration of three-star routes here than any other crag in the area. Be under no illusion though, the routes on this buttress are hard won and require stamina and mental strength to overcome. If you've never climbed here, get this place on the list - it is a truly world class venue with a mountain ambience and aura out of all proportion to its size.
