Clogwyn y Ddysgl is situated high up on the south side of the Pass above Cwm Glas and even further from the road than Cyrn Las. This is very much a place for those who want to experience quiet multi-pitch mountain routes in isolation as it is seldom busy. The crag itself is quite broken and disjointed, but the routes described here make the best of what is on offer. An ascent of one route will take most parties several hours which, when combined with the approach walk, can give a long and satisfying day. Make sure you leave yourself enough time and prepare for a full day out with clothing, food and water.
