The lower flanks of Pen yr Ole Wen don't have much on offer for rock climbing but Pinnacle Ridge is a popular scramble with a couple of graded route options. The eponymous pinnacles are on the shared last pitch, are the highlight for most, and can also be experienced if scrambling at Grade 2.
