Set in the trees above the bustling village of Betws-y-Coed, the Cyrau crags offer some nice short climbs with a lovely view over the valley. The Little Buttress is popular for single-pitch group use since it is an easy place to set up top-ropes on some easy routes around to the left. The front face has some nice technical wall climbs. The Main Buttress has longer and very worthwhile routes. While not in the same class as the mountain magnificence of Cloggy, the crags are a sunny alternative for those based near Betws-y-Coed.
