The Icefalls of Cwm Idwal are easily accessible, great fun and short enough to do a few in a day. There are steep desperate routes such as the Devil's Appendix and some mid grade classics like South Gully and The Screen. Alll are superb quality routes and can get very busy when conditions are good. The atmosphere on the short ice-pitch of The Devil's Kitchen is second to none and this whole area is a wonderful winter playground.
