Screda Point

The jagged promontory of Screda Point offers up some fine pitches on excellent culm. The climbs are off-vertical, but have a feel somewhere between slab and wall climbing. Protection in the main is spaced and the difficulties on most of the routes technical and sustained; a good supply of small wires is a must. The coastal scenery is outstanding and the approach, via the isolated car park at the Hartland Quay Hotel and its associated Wreckers\' Inn adds to the rather special ambience of the coast and its history hereabouts.
